Khimar

Khimar or veil is wore to cover hair, neck and upper part of body. Our khimar comes in several types: Saudi style, Egyptian style and Makassar style.

1. Saudi style
It is a piece of fabric about 90 x 200 cm square. Usually made of chiffon or crepe. It is about IDR 50,000 or USD 5

2. Egyptian style
This khimar is commonly used in Egypt, Africa/ Somali, and some South East Asia countries, including Indonesia. It is usually:
a. S size waist line length about 70 cm front length from head, for IDR 45 000 or USD 4.5
b. M size is 100cm length for IDR 50,000 or USD 5
c. L size is tigh length about 120 cm by front, for IDR 70 000 or USD 7
d. XL size is knee length, about 145 cm, for IDR 100,000 or USD 10.
Our Egyptian style khimar is equipped with zipper in the front, to allow you to baby feed. This is our innovation to give more comfortable feeling to sister to baby feed in public area.

3. Makassar style
Makassar is a city in Sulawesi Island of Indonesia. This khimar is named after her because it is commonly wore there by the sisters. It has the basic shape of Egyptian khimar, but attached with a 30 cm fabric between the right side and the left side. So, this attachment serves the purpose of a niqab. The right side of this attachment is equipped with zipper, to allow you to eat or drink.
The size is:
S 70 cm front length, for IDR 50,000 or USD 5
M 100 cm, for IDR 65,000 or USD 6.5
L 120 cm, for IDR 80,000 or USD 8
XL 150 cm, for IDR 115,000 or USD 11.5
This Makassar style can also be attached with chiffon layers to cover eyes with only extra IDR 15,000 or USD 1.5


You can purchase only the khimar or together with the abaya/hijab/jilbab. If you purchase in one set, this will make your appearance more modest, since the khimar is made of the same fabric of the abaya.
